Review: Eufy Cordless 2-in-1 Stick/Hand HomeVac S11 Infinity

I’ve been wanting to pick up a cordless stick vacuum to keep downstairs for awhile now. They seemed perfect for quick cleanups in the kitchen and living room and require little storage space. This Cordless 2-in-1 Stick/Hand HomeVac S11 Infinity was provided by Eufy, and I was happy to have the opportunity to put it through its paces.

Like many homes, we have multiple types of flooring. I tried the Infinity on linoleum, laminate flooring, area rugs, and carpet. But this versatile 2-in-1 vacuum does much more than floors!

We took it from an upright vacuum to a handheld unit that easily cleaned up the sofa, including our Maine Coon cat’s favourite spot on the back. She has long fur that doesn’t look nearly as beautiful deposited on the furniture as it does on her.

Allergies are a concern in my household, so I appreciate the HEPA-like filter that grabs pet dander, dust mites and mold spores to stop them before they trigger an allergic reaction. We used the the mini-motorized brush to deep clean upholstered furniture and mattresses, removing dust and preventing mites. The motorized brush attachment is also gentle enough to use on dusty walls and furniture. Dual-Vortex technology increases efficiency and containment, reducing dust in the environment during and after vacuuming. A 5-tier filtration system protects and maximizes motor performance.

The long crevice tool attachment worked like a charm for cleaning the vents on my bathroom exhaust fans. I run them 24/7 to control humidity in our damp BC climate, so they quickly gather dust & grime as they pull the air through. The unit is light enough to lift at 5.5 pounds, and is easy to maneuver while it’s up there…with a little practice. The same tool was perfect for cleaning out our baseboard heaters.

Battery life is always a challenge for cordless products, which Eufy addresses by including an extra battery pack (28.8V 2200 mAh lithium-ion battery). Deep cleaning uses a lot of vacuum power, so you’ll get less than 10 minutes on Max-Mode from one battery. I had plenty of time to clean a large braided area rug and two door mats. Then I switched to Mid-Mode to do a quick sweep of the laminate and linoleum flooring.

It was easy to swivel into every corner and the unit moved easily into places I wouldn’t normally be able to reach. The motorized roller brush with LED headlight made it easy to see and remove any particles I encountered. The handy hose extension was there for places the unit wouldn’t fit.

This HomeVac is virtually trouble-free:

  • The batteries quickly recharge.
  • The relatively large dust holder detaches to easily empty directly into the trash.
  • The filter should be washed once per month or so.
  • It can be stored in even the smallest closet and a wall mount is included.

While I can’t speak to durability at this point, my initial impression of everything else is truly positive. I actually expected less of a cordless model, but was pleasantly surprised to find out this one is powerful and versatile as its corded cousins.

I expect to use the Eufy Cordless 2-in-1 HomeVac S11 Infinity often! The 15-month warranty is reassuring and judging by their Amazon comments, customer support will be exceptional if I need it.
