This turkey dinner recipe is light and healthy, with all the rich, creamy taste of a far less healthy supper choice. You’ll feel like you’re cheating!
Light Turkey or Chicken Ranch Bake
1 cup light sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1 can condensed low-fat cream of chicken soup
1 cup light ranch salad dressing
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 TBSP dried chives
1 tsp raw sea salt
1 tsp powdered seaweed
1 1/2 cups grated light cheddar cheese
4 TBSP light Parmesan cheese
1 cup chopped broccoli
1 cup sliced carrots
2-3 cups chopped cooked, skinless turkey or chicken
1 – 1KG (2.2 pound) bag of hash browns
1 packet Shake ‘n Bake
Preheat oven to 350°.
Mix the first group of ingredients together in a large bowl.
Fold in vegetables, turkey/chicken and hash browns and mix until everything is coated.
Spread into a 28x38cm (11×15″) pan.
Cover and bake for about 45 minutes.
Stir and sprinkle top with Shake ‘n Bake.
Place back in the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 45 minutes.
